"Memories light the corners of my mind,
Misty water-colored memories of the way we were.
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind,
Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were.

Can it be that it was all so simple then,
Or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again,
Tell me, would we?
Could we?

Memories may be beautiful, and yet,
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.
So it's the laughter we will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were."

Selection from "The Way We Were" as sung by Barbra Streisand

And just like that, life changed. College ended. Four years of memories, some beautiful, some I'd rather forget.

Now I am an adult, working 8-5. I am 23 now, and I have just recently celebrated one year of employment as a Graphic Designer / Web Designer / Network Administrator for a Print & Graphics shop in my hometown. My days are so different.

I bought a car... click [here] to see it! It's a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo Pace Car. I am very proud of it. It's my first big adult responsibility. It helps me to want to go to work in the morning.
