I drew this freehand sitting on my pool deck this summer under the shade of our deck table's umbrella. The hairstyle is the same as in the other drawing of Rhiannon and Eirik, a bun-type 'do with a thin braid hanging down from it. This is supposed to be a scene from their story, but as I haven't actually WRITTEN the story, you can pretend it stands alone. The colored drawing is a composite of many techniques. The dress was computer-colored, the banister was added digitally in PSP and had textures applied to it, and the beautiful blue vista background is a Corbis digital photograph.
