A portrait of Rhiannon, which has since become a template for all later drawings of her. I knew what I saw in my mind - a simple, unassuming, yet soft appearance...somewhat plain. All my previous drawings of her did not match this premise. I'm very proud of this pic; it's one of my faves and is truly not finished. I was planning on making a wood border around the 11x13 page (the guidelines of which are faintly visible) but I don't feel comfortable yet with my skill at drawing such things as wood. When I do, I'll pull this drawing out and finish it the way I wish I could.
